Segmented Bowl made from 242 pieces of Mahogany and Oak in a brick lay pattern.
This was a special project because it was made from wood which was given to me by a close friend. The wood was his father’s, who had recently passed away. His father was a woodworker himself. I made the bowl for that friend, using wood that was his fathers in a brick lay pattern to pay homage to the brick building where his father’s shop was located. The P inlayed into the bottom represents their last name.
